Mark's Auto Accessories praises MAM's easy-to-use business management software
Car parts and accessories retailer made a "long-term business decision" to move to Autopart Online
A1 Motor Stores member Mark's Auto Accessories recently made the move to Autopart Online in what owner Mark Gill calls a "long-term business decision".
The company, which has been selling car parts and accessories since 1983, was using an alternative system for around 15 years. "Although there wasn't anything wrong with the software per se, we weren't keen on the direction the provider was taking, which is when we decided to take a closer look at Autopart Online," Mark said.
Mark admits he is "not computer literate", making the easy-to-use software an obvious choice. The software has already become "second nature" to the counter staff at Mark's Auto Accessories and they are still finding features that will make their jobs simpler.
"We wanted a system that we could use over the course of many years and that would grow with our business," Mark noted. "Autopart Online met this criteria."
The cloud-based software can be configured to meet the individual needs of a business, while alleviating the burden of updates and maintenance.
Several of the software's features stood out for Mark and his team. Among them is the ability to order directly from suppliers, as well as the suggested orders feature and cataloguing system, which make day-to-day transactions much easier.
"Autopart Online is more advanced than the software we were using previously and the extra functionality really helps my business," Mark concluded.
"We receive feedback time and time again from our customers about how easy it is to use our software," explained Mark Kendall, sales director at MAM Software.
"Our systems are designed with functionality in mind and we are pleased to hear Autopart Online is having a positive effect on Mark's Auto Accessories' daily business."
Autopart Online is business management software developed specifically for the automotive aftermarket. Available as both an on-premise and cloud solution, the system is suitable for single-site operations through to those with multiple premises.
