MAM Software Reports Successful New Product Demonstrations at AAIW trade shows
Showcased OpenWebs E-Commerce solution, new cloud-enabled e-commerce tools, and VAST Wholesale functionality
MAM Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAMS), a leading provider of automotive business management solutions, has returned from a very successful and productive Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW). AAIW took place November 4 to 7, 2014, and MAM attended both major trade exhibitions: the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) and the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA). The exhibitions were held at the Sands Expo Convention Center and the Las Vegas Convention Center, respectively.
During AAPEX, the company showcased a number of cloud-enabled tools and demonstrated its popular e-commerce solutions, including OpenWebs’ new features related to tire inquiry and ordering. The new integration of MAM’s Autocat+ catalog to OpenWebs generated great interest among booth visitors. Potential users especially liked the ability to customize the catalog to suit their specific business practices.
MAM also showcased SalesRep, their feature-rich tablet application for field-based sales, which was met with a very positive response from attendees. Booth visitors liked the app’s integration to Autopart so sales representatives can manage customer records while away from the office - a useful feature for pulling up important information while visiting customers on-site. Follow-up details of such visits and calls can be logged on the app and synced instantly with the office. Additionally, staff can check pricing, view stock availability and raise orders directly from the app.
At SEMA, MAM demonstrated its well-known tire dealer software, VAST Enterprise. Supporting every link in the supply chain, VAST Enterprise is business management software that helps tire and automotive service dealers streamline core business processes to improve customer service, productivity and profits.
SEMA attendees showed particular interest in VAST Enterprise Wholesale, an order-entry system specifically designed for tire wholesale dealers. It offers a unique interface that facilitates quick and easy data input in an easy-to-use Windows-based platform. Much like AAPEX attendees, visitors enjoyed the integration with the OpenWebs e-commerce system to enable fast, efficient online transactions. The user interface can be customized for each salesperson and the software can be integrated with customers’ point of sale systems. It also manages multiple price levels and contract pricing, ensuring consistent pricing and discounting to all customers.
