Hogan & Sons enhances customer engagement with VAST Commerce & CarSide

Hogan & Sons Tire and Auto, a multi-generational family business that provides a full-service solution for all automotive and repair needs, have been a VAST customer for 4 years and have recently implemented VAST Commerce in conjunction with CarSide.

VAST Commerce is a cloud-based suite of connectivity and catalog solutions that enables businesses throughout the automotive tire and servicing sector to collaborate and transact online with reduced costs and greater efficiency.

VAST Commerce's seamless integration with VAST allows qualifying questions to be stored against the specific vehicles eliminating redundancy and leads to improved workflow as well as enhanced customer relations.

Built on KCS' OpenWebs e-commerce and Autocat catalog platforms, the solution provides Hogan & Sons with easy parts identification and accurate job time estimation. VAST Commerce's extensive vehicle database allows users access to a wide range of vehicle types.

VAST Commerce allows us to easily identify parts and with the integrated labor guides, we are able to accurately estimate the job times to provide our customers with a better customer experience. It also allows us to customize our preference lists, eliminating unwanted data and making it easier to search for relevant parts and suppliers. CarSide enables Hogan & Sons to send customers a digital report of recommended repairs directly to their smartphone (including pictures and videos). The combination of VAST, VAST Commerce and CarSide allows for a seamless transition between their bays and service advisors.

VAST Commerce, when used with VAST and CarSide allows VAST to easily import parts and labor right from the tablet cutting down on input errors and speeding up the service response times to Hogan & Sons customers.
