Trader-integrated website to speed up transactions at Prime Industrial & Janitorial Supplies
Origin retail website is integrated with MAM's business management software to help process orders and control stock levels
Prime Industrial & Janitorial Supplies, an independent supplier of cleaning materials, catering disposables, hygiene supplies and industrial products, has launched a new website that directly integrates with its Trader software. The company, which is a member of Jangro, believes the new Origin website will revolutionise and speed up the way in which customers place their orders.
Prime’s purchasing director Paul Dunning explained that the company opted for a bespoke website, as it stocks such a wide range of products from a variety of suppliers. The user-friendly e-commerce solution integrates with the company’s MAM Trader software to simplify online trading. Both trade and retail customers can place orders online 24 hours a day, helping the business maximise sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction.
Many Prime Industrial & Janitorial Supplies customers currently place their orders over the phone, or via email or fax, but the company believes it won't be long before they grow in confidence using the e-commerce website.
"Using the new website helps customers know their order has been received, placed and paid for - it offers an extra level of assurance," Paul continued.
The company is now looking forward to rolling out its new website and encouraging customers to request their log-ins so they can start placing orders online.
"The implementation process for the website has been great and we're impressed with how it looks and functions. Origin has been great to work with and very accommodating of our requests," Paul continued.
Prime Industrial & Janitorial Supplies has been using Trader for many years and it now plays an integral role in the company's daily operations. The software's easy-to-use interface has made it easy for new members of staff to learn how to use the system.
"It's never a problem to get staff up to speed on how to use Trader. The software has made us much more accurate and efficient in terms of how we operate, especially when it comes to stock control and levelling," Paul added.
Giles Greenslade, managing director of Origin Software Solutions, said: "A bespoke website with Trader integration will transform the way in which Prime Industrial & Janitorial Supplies carries out its day-to-day business.
"Being able to take online orders will not only speed up transactions for customers, but also make it easier for the team to prepare and dispatch items. We look forward to seeing how the website benefits the business in the long term."
