Suspension supplier to employ Autocat+ to enter the UK market
Maxtrac UK Limited have uploaded their product data to the UK’s most popular online vehicle parts catalogue
MAM Software is pleased to announce that Maxtrac UK Limited has provided product data to MAM’s Autocat+ parts catalogue to assist the supplier’s entry into the UK market. The company is also using MAM’s Automate data management suite to improve the quality and upload speed of its data and has become self-sufficient in publishing information to Autocat+. Hosted in the cloud, Automate Online is a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution and can be accessed via any web browser.
Maxtrac UK Limited, a sister company of Netherlands-based Autotechnics BV, is a suspension specialist supplying a range of products including shock absorbers, coil springs and easy struts. Already established in the Netherlands, the company has uploaded its product data to Autocat+ in order to reach thousands of motor factors, and to aid in establishing itself in the UK market.
Automate Online has enabled Maxtrac to amend, update and add its own product data to Autocat+. It verifies Maxtrac’s data, produces reject reports and helps it to perform gap analysis in order to improve its vehicle coverage. Overall it provides for more accurate parts application to vehicle searches, in the Autocat+ catalogue. Automate prompts Maxtrac to map its product data to new UK vehicles and also assists in converting data arriving from its European counterparts in instances where UK models differ. Utilising the Make Model Index (MMI) improves customer confidence by allowing Maxtrac to accurately match parts to a comprehensive database of UK-specific vehicles.
“After working with the automotive industry for a number of years, uploading our product data to MAM’s Autocat+ was a no-brainer,” explained Julian Rose, Director at Maxtrac UK Limited. “To enter the UK market successfully, it’s essential that our products are available to as many businesses as possible, and a large percentage of UK motor factors use Autocat+ to order parts on a daily basis. To ensure we offer these businesses the highest level of customer service, we’ll be using the Automate suite to maintain accurate data, and to amend our data as often as we want.”
“We are delighted that Maxtrac UK Limited recognises the vital importance of accurately maintained catalogue data,” said MAM Software’s Ian Penny. “Our unique Make Model Index will allow Maxtrac to reference its catalogue data against the most comprehensive, accurate database of UK-specific vehicles available. The increased accuracy afforded by our solution will reduce returns and greatly increase customer confidence, which will be vital in assisting Maxtrac to enter the UK market successfully.”
