QH Autoparts Ltd. achieves MMI Certified Supplier status
MAM Software’s Automate Online and MMI help Bury-based supplier assure Autocat+ data accuracy
MAM Software is pleased to report that QH Autoparts Ltd. has now successfully been uploading product data since the original Autocat was released in 1997. By mapping products to MAM’s Make Model Index (MMI) via MAM Automate Online, the company has now achieved MMI Certified Supplier status, which assures Autocat+ users of accurate and up-to-date data. The combination of these products has helped QH Autoparts to extend market reach and increase sales.
Based in Bury, QH Autoparts is a part of the Tetrosyl Group Ltd. and supply a diverse range of automotive components to fit a large variety of vehicles. With such a broad product range, Automate Online provides QH Autoparts with an efficient method to quickly and easily populate the Autocat+ catalogue with its product details. It can upload product images, specifications and prices to ensure its customers always have access to the most up-to-date information.
“As the UK’s most comprehensive web-driven vehicle parts catalogue, Autocat+ really did meet all of our requirements in terms of efficiently marketing our products to a vast customer base,” said Tania Kay, Data Manager at QH Autoparts Ltd. “Automate Online and the MMI has been invaluable to us as it allows us to update our data whenever we need to. We’re delighted that we’re now an MMI Certified Supplier, as it lets our existing and prospective customers know that our product information is accurate and up-to-date, which helps us to further cement trust in our products.”
Autocat+ is MAM Software’s market leading, web-driven vehicle parts catalogue that allows users to compare multiple suppliers, products and categories, and prices. The most used web-driven catalogue in the UK, Autocat+ allows QH Autoparts to reach thousands of UK-based automotive businesses with its product data.
Automate Online is MAM Software’s catalogue data management tool for Autocat+. It helps QH Autoparts to significantly improve the quality of its product data and become self-sufficient in publishing information to Autocat+. Incorporating MAM’s unique MMI, Automate Online enables the supplier to develop a consistent data structure that enhances catalogue matching and increases customer confidence. Furthermore, by using Automate Online to correctly map parts to vehicles, QH Autoparts has now achieved MMI Certified Supplier status which solidifies trust in its data accuracy.
“We’re delighted that our products have helped QH Autoparts reach a large percentage of the UK market,” said Tony Mason, Sales Manager at MAM Software. “Becoming an MMI Certified Supplier is our seal of approval to show customers that a supplier’s data can be trusted. This is increasingly becoming a popular tool for suppliers to capture a larger market. We’re also pleased that QH Autoparts is using Automate Online, as it allows it to be responsible for its own data with very little MAM intervention.”
