Parts supplier praises flexibility of cloud
Autopart Online move improves adaptability, secures servers and reduces costs for 727 Truck and Van Parts
727 Truck and Van Parts (formerly Lea Valley Truck Parts) has praised the versatility of Autopart Online, MAM Software’s cloud based business management solution that seamlessly integrates sales, stock management, accounting and reporting processes in one easy-to-use package.
Based in Walthamstow with a new branch in Colchester, 727 is a leading distributor of quality truck parts and accessories. With nearly 20 years experience, it offers more than 20,000 part numbers featuring some of the best known brands in the automotive industry.
By making the switch to an MAM cloud hosted solution, 727 has taken advantage of some of the many benefits Software as a Service (SaaS) packages provide. As its servers are now hosted with MAM Software in a state-of-the-art data centre, the company has saved money on maintenance costs. With automatic day-end backups, 727 has eliminated the need to conduct server backups itself, allowing more time to focus on other elements of the organisation. The business also says it has taken advantage of being able to view live, active information across its two sites, with the simplicity of the software impressing the company further.
In particular, 727 were delighted with with the flexibility of the solution. After the recent expansion to its second depot, with plans to open a third, the business says Autopart Online “fits the bill” as it has easily adapted to working across both sites.
“We are extremely happy with the adaptability of Autopart Online, and its flexibility will no doubt benefit us as we look to expand to a third site,” said Jeb Erswell, Managing Director at 727. “We’ve now got the peace of mind that our servers are being backed up by MAM, and we’ve totally eliminated our maintenance costs. MAM Software have been great for us, they’ve provided us with software that does exactly what we want it to do.”
“We’re delighted that 727 has made the move to Autopart Online, and has started to reap the rewards a switch to our Software as a Solution (SaaS) brings,” said Jason Bradshaw, Sales Manager at MAM Software. “It’s encouraging that the company see Autopart Online as the most adaptable solution for its business needs, and the software will no doubt continue to assist 727 as it looks to expand in the future.”
