MOT and tune-up boosts performance at AVP
Consultancy visit helps All Vehicle Parts get more from its software
All Vehicle Parts (AVP), the recently-crowned GROUPAUTO LV member of the year, has praised MAM Software's 'MOT and tune-up' service for helping the company get more from its Autopart business management software.
Established in 1980 and a long-standing member of GROUPAUTO, All Vehicle Parts is a respected vehicle parts distributor supplying garages and workshops across Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. The company operates four branches in Market Harborough, Leicester, Corby and Oakham, supported by a central warehouse and fleet of 15 delivery vans.
MAM's 'MOT and tune-up' consultancy visits are designed to help Autopart users maximise the benefits of their software by identifying productivity and efficiency improvements. Tailored to the requirements of each company, the service involves a member of MAM's professional services team undertaking an on-site review and fine-tuning the customer's Autopart system. At the end of each consultation visit, the user is given a report and a list of advisories to further enhance the system.
Even for experienced users like AVP, a tune-up visit can increase the value that companies derive from using Autopart.
"After using Autopart for numerous years we were sceptical about the benefits of an MOT session, but from the outset it became apparent that we only use a small fragment of Autopart to its full potential," explained Lee Dunkley, sales & operations manager at All Vehicle Parts.
"During the visit we learnt numerous tricks and shortcuts, while tweaks were made to our system during the session. On the back of the visit we arranged a further training day, which helped us utilise the system even further.
"We are planning on having an MOT session each year to help us continue to understand the new features that MAM implements into Autopart, which will enable us to continue to streamline our operations."
"We're delighted that Lee and AVP have benefited as a direct result of one of our MOT consultancy visits," said Matthew Collier, professional services director at MAM Software.
"A business management solution is the backbone of every business. Taking the time to carry out performance checks and staying up-to-date with the latest functionality will set a business on the path to success. Our solutions provide multiple ways in which motor factors can maximise profitability. Providing additional training helps them get the most out of their Autopart system and gain a lead on the competition."
