MAM Software retains ISO/IEC 27001 certification
Status reaffirms the company's commitment to best information security practice
MAM Software is pleased to announce it has once again been awarded ISO/IEC 27001 certification by the British Standards Institution (BSI). The international standard acknowledges organisations that establish, implement, maintain and continually improve their information security management system.
To achieve ISO/IEC 27001 certification, MAM Software had to develop and show a systematic and ongoing approach to managing sensitive company and customer information. The status is valid for three years, and during this time a business must continue to manage and maintain its information and security management systems.
MAM Software has been granted certification for "the sale, development, delivery and support of business-management software solutions". The announcement consolidates the company's position as a leading automotive software provider, and offers reassurance to prospects and customers alike.
Nigel Clemett, Business Development Director at MAM Software, commented: "This certification strengthens our commitment to following best practice in relation to information security. This is the second time we have been awarded ISO/IEC 27001 certification and we are keen to maintain this status well into the future.
"It gives our customers assurance that we have robust security practices and risk management procedures in place, and that the service we provide remains resilient."
