v171 release of garage management software adds new Job Deposits, Custom Job Search, Calculated Selling Price and Access Control functionality

MAM Software is pleased to announce a new version of its Autowork Online garage management software. The v171 release adds new functionality to the web based system, and implements several minor updates designed to ensure the smooth running of the solution.

New features include the ability to make job deposits on in-progress job cards. This allows users to collect and keep track of deposits before the work is complete, and print receipts for deposits when they are added to an invoice.

Autowork Online users can now search a list of custom jobs when creating a new job. This saves time for the user when searching for custom jobs, by allowing them to enter keywords into the system’s search bar.

Another new feature allows users to see the markup price of an item when adding parts to their database, enabling them to immediately see what their customers will pay for parts based on the user’s cost.

The VIN number now shows in the vehicle information on an invoice printout. This adds additional vehicle information on the invoice for reference, keeping the user and their customer better informed.

Several enhancements have also been made to the solution. A new access control feature allows users to password protect specific sections of the system, in order to control who can make changes to company information. The supplier search feature has also been improved, which has been updated to add search filters.

“We’re delighted to announce the v171 release of Autowork Online,” said Gavin Sparks, Senior Sales Manager at MAM Software. “The new release features some handy new functionality, several minor updates and enhancements that improve the user-friendliness and capabilities of the application. Users are encouraged to keep a look out for further updates in the new year.”
