MAM Software announces new version of StockTake mobile and tablet app
New release introduces several improvements including Bluetooth barcode scanner support
MAM Software is pleased to announce a new version of its StockTake mobile and tablet app. The new version includes several improvements designed to enhance workflow, including the addition of Bluetooth barcode scanner support.
Users can improve productivity and reduce errors by pairing a compatible barcode scanner(1) with their mobile device and using it to input items onto the stock sheets. Further scans of items already on the stock sheet will increment the count value, eliminating the need to adjust quantities manually.
Stock sheets have also been improved to make them easier to view on a mobile device. They can now be broken into pages containing a set number of lines (rather than a long scrolling list), and there is an option to find a specific item within the sheet.
Further additions have also been made to allow users to analyse and monitor stock sheet information. The number of lines on a sheet and the sum of the current count totals can now be viewed from the main stock sheets tab, as can the date and time a sheet was recorded, along with the operator who recorded it.
"I must say the scanning side of the app is fantastic," said Richard Hodgkisson, IT Director at Autostores Motor Factors. "It works really well and will save us so much time going forward."
MAM StockTake is available for a range of MAM applications(2), both cloud-hosted and on-premise, including Autopart and Trader. The latest version of the app can be downloaded from the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).
1. Please refer to the scanner manufacturer's guidelines to ensure compatibility with your mobile device prior to purchase.
