MAM Software announces new mobile app
MAM CarSide is first in a planned series of tablet and smartphone applications
MAM Software is pleased to announce a new mobile app, the first in a new line of solutions designed to take advantage of the growing presence of mobile devices in the workplace. MAM CarSide will add electronic vehicle health check (eVHC) functionality and vehicle damage inspections to Autowork Online, MAM Software's cloud-based garage management solution.
Initially available for Apple devices, CarSide aims to fundamentally improve the way in which garages and workshops perform initial vehicle inspections and reports. With a focus on upselling, CarSide can help businesses generate revenue by identifying and reporting on required work, then deferring these task lists to Autowork Online. An interactive inspection screen also allows pre-existing damage to be recorded, with annotations and photographs automatically saved in Autowork Online for reference. This approach supports the workshop's duty of care, better informs the customer and above all protects revenue.
"We are excited to announce the first of a series of new mobile applications from MAM Software" said Mike Jamieson, CEO of MAM Software. "The mobile space is becoming increasingly relevant in all areas of business, with companies looking to leverage portable technology to drive improvements in efficiency, increase the level and accuracy of data captured and develop new revenue opportunities.
"MAM CarSide is the result of our continued investment in cloud and mobile technology, and a great example of how embracing the latest technology delivers tangible business benefits to our customers. We look forward to releasing further mobile apps across our range of markets, including dedicated apps for our Autopart management software to provide sales rep functionality and mobile stock checks."
