MAM cloud software exceeds 3,000 user milestone

The number of users who now utilise MAM cloud business solutions has grown by 47%

MAM Software is pleased to announce a continuing shift to the cloud as the number of its hosted users continues to grow. There are now 3,210 users from across 317 distribution and retail companies who access their business management software from the MAM cloud, an annual increase of 47% since September 2015.

MAM cloud hosted solutions are available for auto parts distributors and retailers, and building supplies merchants. Delivered from a state-of-the-art data centre, this Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) approach provides the same functionality as MAM's traditional software, without the cost and time investments of overseeing an on-premise server.

Many customers, like Mileham's Discount Car Care, are opting for cloud solutions to reduce the burden of hardware maintenance and lower their upfront capital investment:

"We were looking to replace our server since it was around 4 or 5 years old, so rather than spending a large amount of money upfront we decided it was the best decision to switch to a cloud-hosted solution. MAM installed brand new workstations a couple of months prior to the switch, then transferred us to the cloud overnight, ready to go the next morning - it was seamless. Now we have peace of mind that our software is being taken care of." Lucinda Mileham explained.

"We are extremely delighted to see the continuing trend towards cloud hosted systems." Said Mark Kendall, National Sales Manager at MAM Software. "Both new and existing customers have been pleased by how much the cloud has to helped their business. The way we access our software is changing, more and more of our customers are recognising the benefits offered by the cloud."
