Latest software update proves a hit with customers
Workshops praise new features and updated functionality in latest update to MAM garage management software
MAM Software's latest update to its popular Autowork Online garage management software has been warmly welcomed by its users. Workshop owners have praised the introduction of new features and commended the updates of existing functionality.
Many users applauded the introduction of a new print design that generates modern professional looking estimates and invoices that are simple to understand. Russell Stanley of Revolution Porsche said the new designs "look much cleaner and neater." He liked the the improvements at the foot of the invoice and said the documents "all in all look way more professional."
A new Returns Bin feature also received praise from users for helping to save time while reliably tracking parts to be returned to suppliers. "Have to say the new returns process is fantastic, please pass on my thanks to all concerned," said Tim Ferris of Ferris Garage.
One of the key additions in the release is a new series of reports. These include reports for deferred work, which allows garages to postpone and recover work. "This has been used to great success and has increased profit," said Ben Dix of Southcombe Garage. "It allows us to estimate for specific work and then either implement the work on an existing job card, create a new job to be allocated, or to set up a reminder for us to contact the customer in the future to secure the work."
"We are delighted that our latest updates are being so well received," said Gavin Sparks, senior sales manager at MAM Software.
"We are continually looking for ways to improve the software and introduce new functionality that benefits our users. We take time to listen to our customers and many of the updates included in this release are result of feedback from users.
"We are looking forward to providing continued support to our growing user base and delivering an ongoing programme of useful updates that continue to increase productivity and improve profitability."
