UK based importer & manufacturer boosts product clarity with Automate Online

MAM Software is pleased to announce that ISLA Components has been successfully mapping its SILBAK wiper blade product data against the MMI (Make Model Index) by utilising Automate Online, MAM Software’s cloud-hosted solution that enables component suppliers to enhance product data and publish it to the Autocat+ parts catalogue. As a result, the business has been awarded MMI Certified Data Supplier (MCDS) status, assuring customers that its product data is accurate and up-to-date.

Based in Worcestershire with nearly 20 years’ experience, ISLA is a manufacturer of products predominantly for the replacement truck, bus and coach automotive and agricultural sectors. In order for the company to offer complete windscreen wiper systems, it imports car & commercial wiper blades, washer bottles, washer pumps, washer jets and wiper motors from internationally well-known manufacturers.

Automate Online is a catalogue data-management application that enables component suppliers to publish product data directly to Autocat+. Automate Online takes ISLA’s catalogue data and prepares it for publication in Autocat+, providing reject reports for incorrect data and gap analysis to help improve entry. ISLA’s data has been verified against the Make Model Index (MMI) – helping it to achieve MMI Certified Data Supplier status.

“We’re delighted to have been awarded Certified Supplier status,” said Les Washington at ISLA. “This exciting news ensures that both our current and prospective customers have trust in our products. Furthermore, we’re pleased that our SILBAK Wiper Blade Data has been added to Autocat+, marking a step forward for our business. We’re extremely happy with our Automate Online, Autocat+ and MMI experience, and look forward to achieving more with the software in the future.”

“We’re pleased that our software solutions have helped ISLA Components reach Certified Supplier status, cementing its customers trust in its products,” said Tony Mason, Sales Manager at MAM Software. “The company have our seal of approval that its product data can be trusted, and by utilising Automate Online, we’re confident that the business will continue to have success moving forward.”
