Group input drives catalogue data development
Trade group collaboration provides valuable assistance with Autocat v8 product and data development
MAM Software has welcomed the support of some of the UK's leading trade groups, who are helping to drive the product development and data maintenance of its popular Autocat v8 parts catalogue. Alliance Automotive Group, IFA and Rapid have been meeting regularly with MAM staff to provide input on application development and to assist with the sourcing and maintenance of data.
Recent discussions have helped identify potential product enhancements and establish guidelines for data standardisation. Thanks to the feedback that's been received, MAM has defined product group and supplier priorities, and is already seeing the benefits of working with selected suppliers to help them improve the data they supply to the catalogue.
"We are keen that users participate more closely in the development and discussion of Autocat v8 and its data," said Robin Darnell, Operations Director at MAM Software. "Our collaboration with the groups is helping us to identify any issues facing users of the application, and enabling us to prioritise the future development of the software and its data."
Autocat v8 users can discuss the product and provide feedback via the MAM Software customer community. To request access, please email email@example.com
