MAM’s range of software solutions help motorcycle parts & accessories wholesaler improve business performance

MAM Software is pleased to report that Bradbury Bros, a Huddersfield- based motorcycle parts & accessories wholesaler, has increased sales by 14% since implementing the MAM Autopart Online business management solution. The Software as a Service solution, a cloud-based version of MAM's popular point-of-sale, inventory and accounting application, was installed alongside MAM's SalesRep tablet app and Autonet Online B2B e-commerce solution.

Bradbury Bros is a motorcycle parts and accessories wholesaler based in Huddersfield. The company has been selling directly to trade customers since 1979 and now stocks over 15,000 products. With its vast customer base and expansive product range, Bradbury Bros needed a system that would help it streamline its core business processes.

A hosted, fully managed solution, Autopart Online utilises remote servers monitored in a state-of-the-art data centre and comes with frequent data backups and automatic software updates.

The order processing functionality of Autopart Online facilitates manual and scheduled purchase orders and offers automated re-ordering suggestions, multi-sourcing and best buy analysis to help Bradbury Bros maximise its profit margins. It provides the company with access to extensive product information and alternative products at the point-of-sale, and all purchases and sales automatically update stock levels and the relevant ledgers.

By integrating MAM SalesRep and MAM Autonet Online into its Autopart Online management software, Bradbury Bros has achieved further benefits as Denis explained: “We recently purchased SalesRep, MAM’s latest tablet app, because it gives our field-based sales representatives a portable means of conducting business when visiting customers. Available for Apple and selected Android tablets, SalesRep has been designed to enhance the way in which sales representatives conduct business while on-the-go. Communicating directly with Bradbury Bro’s MAM Autopart Online business management software via Wi-Fi or 3G, SalesRep gives its staff instant access to extensive customer information such as contact details, account information and transaction history. Any information entered into SalesRep is instantly reflected at the company’s branch or head office. It also allows its staff to create orders and carry out impress stock checks.

Autonet Online is a web-based parts catalogue and shopping basket application for business-to-business (B2B) trade sales. Leveraging the latest Internet technologies, it enables Bradbury Bros to receive orders directly into its Autopart Online business management solution. It is designed to streamline the sales process by empowering trade customers to identify and order their own parts, with their own unique logins to see their purchase history and customer-specific pricing.
