EBC Brakes turns to MAM to enhance & promote catalogue data
Brake supplier selects MAM’s Autocat+ & Automate solutions to support its UK re-launch
MAM Software today announced that EBC Brakes is to provide product data to MAM’s Autocat+ parts catalogue to assist the supplier's UK brand re-launch. The company will also use MAM's Automate data management suite to improve the quality of its data and become self-sufficient in publishing information to Autocat+.
EBC Brakes, a global organisation with factories based in the UK, produces brake parts for a variety of vehicles and its range includes aramid brake pads, sport and race pads, carbon long life brakes, a variety of brake discs and a new range of ECO friendly parts. EBC's inclusion in MAM's popular Autocat+ parts catalogue will help the supplier reach thousands of factor and garage users who use the reference tool on a daily basis.
The company will use MAM Automate to standardise information it provides to Autocat+. Incorporating MAM's unique Makes and Models Index (MMI), Automate will enable EBC to develop a consistent data structure, which will improve catalogue matching and increase customer confidence. Automate will verify EBC’s data, produce reject reports and help them perform gap analysis. It will also highlight new UK vehicle models and facilitate the conversion of data arriving from its global counterparts.
