MAM Software to exhibit latest product updates at the forthcoming Bosch Car Service (BCS) conference
New developments to BCS Online and add-on module Online Bookings to be demonstrated to members of the BCS network
MAM Software is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting its latest developments to Bosch Car Service (BCS) Online – the only Bosch-recommended garage management solution - at the forthcoming BCS Conference, which takes place October 11 at the Metropole Hotel, Birmingham. The latest release of BCS Online features an enhanced, intuitive diary management system which significantly improves usability. The company will also be unveiling its brand new Online Bookings add-on for BCS Online, as well as demonstrating the latest advancements to its mobile and tablet app, MAM CarSide.
The BCS conferences are held every year to bring members of the BCS network together to hear more about Bosch’s activities and discuss new ways to develop their business. They also give Bosch-approved suppliers the chance to showcase their latest products.
“The BCS conferences give us the opportunity to keep members up-to-date with the latest advancements in our product offering,” said Gavin Sparks, Senior Sales Manager at MAM Software. “BCS Online has undergone development to include new and improved features. Plus, CarSide, the tablet app which we introduced at last years’ conferences, has improved functionality on small screened devices and is now available for Android.”
Accessed via a web-browser, BCS Online simplifies and manages every aspect of running a busy workshop or garage. It automates and organises essential everyday tasks, from generating quotes and invoices to maintaining service records and managing the diary. Plus, SMS and e-mail communication can be utilised to enhance customer communication, reducing the cost of postage and paper.
The latest update to BCS Online introduces an enhanced workshop diary. Fully customisable, it now offers the ability to set up multiple bays or stacks and the option to view with or without time slots. Featuring drag and drop, jobs can be moved from one bay or stack to another and start times and durations can be changed simply and efficiently.
Online Bookings is a brand new add-on module for BCS Online, which is designed to be quickly and easily integrated into a business’s existing website. It provides new and existing customers with the means to book their own MOT’s online. Supported MOT Classes, pricing and available times are all controlled through BCS Online. Furthermore, every appointment made through Online Bookings automatically updates the MOT diary within BCS Online and creates a job sheet to give businesses an immediate view of their MOT schedule.
MAM CarSide is a mobile and tablet app that adds electronic vehicle health checks (eVHC) and damage inspections to BCS Online. CarSide creates revenue-generating opportunities by identifying and reporting on required work, while an interactive inspection screen helps to protect against false damage claims. As well as improved performance and a number of functionality enhancements, the latest update to CarSide allows damage inspections to be carried out on small screened devices. Plus, it is now available for Android as well as iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices.
“We’re very proud to develop the only Bosch-recommended garage management solution and we feel it is our duty to members of the BCS network to keep it constantly up-to-date to accommodate for an ever-changing industry,” continued Gavin. “We look forward to demonstrating our latest product developments at the forthcoming BCS conference and we’re sure that members will be excited to see what we have to offer.”
