Herefordshire-based Andy Pack Car Care Centre to upgrade to latest version of Autopart Online

Andy Pack Car Care Centre, a car parts and accessories retailer based in Herefordshire, has chosen to upgrade to Autopart Online, the cloud-hosted version of MAM Software's popular business management solution.

Established in 1983 in Ross-on-Wye, the company is a member of the CAAR buying group and offers its customers a wide range of car parts, accessories and leisure products.

Andy Pack has been an MAM customer for a number of years and recently decided to upgrade its Autopart v17 system from an on-site server to the latest v30 cloud-hosted solution to enjoy the benefits of a more efficient system, secure data storage, and automatic backups.

Hosted in a state-of-the-art data centre, Autopart Online offers the same functionality as traditional on-premise software, but eliminates the need for daily data backups and ongoing server maintenance, leaving users more free time to focus on other business tasks.

The software seamlessly integrates sales, stock management, accounting and reporting processes in one easy-to-use package. Andy Pack will take advantage of the new features in the application's v30 release to better manage its promotions, ordering and accounts.

"We're updating our computer system with MAM because we wanted to continue with what we're used to," Andy Parry, Owner at Andy Pack Car Care Centre, explained.

"We like the way Autopart works. We looked at other systems, but we felt that none of those could compare to Autopart."

"One of the features in Autopart Online that was of great interest to us was v30's sales promotion routines. We already do a lot of offers and this will allow us to manage our promotions with greater control."

"As well as Special Offers, there are lots of other features in Autopart Online that will make our business operations more efficient, such as AutoGRNi."

AutoGRNi is an automated process that will match Andy Pack's goods received notes to its purchase invoices and post them directly to supplier accounts on its purchase ledger.

Andy Pack is also implementing Autonet FPS, MAM's application-to-application ecommerce solution. The software will enable the company to quickly and securely make stock enquiries and place orders directly with FPS.

"With Autonet, we'll be able to streamline the process of bringing in new stock by being able to generate orders directly on our suppliers," Andy Parry concluded.

"We are delighted that Andy Pack has chosen to upgrade to Autopart Online," said Mark Kendall, Head of Sales at MAM Software. "By accessing its software through the cloud, the company no longer has to worry about maintaining server hardware or backing up its data."

"The company will also benefit from new functionality in the v30 release, which will help streamline manual processes and generate additional sales opportunities."
