Motor factor to future proof business with cloud software
Frenches Autos looks forward to modernising the way it uses software and increasing data security
Frenches Autos, a motor factor and IAAF member, will be making the move over to Autopart Online, MAM Software's cloud-hosted business management solution, to future proof its business and improve data security.
The company operates out of two retail branches in Surrey and West Sussex, supplying automotive parts to local garages and the general public.
Frenches Autos first started using MAM's original Trader system in the mid 1990s. In 2005 the company moved to MAM's Autopart v17 in order to make its essential business processes more efficient and improve customer service.
"When we first took Autopart on board, we did it with the intention of making our processes much easier to handle by modernising the way we work," Jamie Reynolds, manager at Frenches Autos, explains.
"The system has been very effective for us, it has helped us save time on some of our more critical business tasks and allowed us to deliver a better standard of service to our customers."
"Autopart Online is the next step forward for future proofing the business by modernising the way we use software. With the cloud, we have the peace of mind that our data is stored in a secure location and backups will be carried out by MAM. This will take a big weight off our shoulders and let us put the time we save towards other important jobs."
The move to Autopart Online will also give Frenches access to the innovative new functionality found in the latest version of the software.
"We’re looking forward to using some of new features Autopart Online has to offer. It will help us to keep better track of our stock, ensure our sales are falling in line with targets and improve the day-to-day running of our business," concluded Jamie.
"We're delighted that Frenches Autos has decided to embrace the benefits of the cloud," said Mark Kendall, Head of Sales at MAM Software.
"Autopart Online will allow Jamie to modernise his business, whilst keeping the same business management system that he and his staff are familiar with. This upgrade will help Frenches Autos save time and money by eliminating the need to carry out time consuming data backups or maintain expensive on-premise servers."
"As well as embracing the benefits of the cloud, Frenches will also be able to take advantage of the innovative functionality found in the latest version of Autopart."
