Alloy wheel fixings added to MAM catalogue
Auto Inparts becomes the first supplier of its kind to include data in MAM Software's Autocat v8 catalogue
Alloy wheel fixings specialist, Auto Inparts Ltd. has selected Autocat v8, MAM's next-generation parts catalogue, to provide motor factors and automotive parts retailers with product data, specification and the latest fitment guides.
Based in Leighton Buzzard, Auto Inparts' product data is the first of its kind to be mapped to Autocat v8’s unique Make Model Index (MMI). The addition of the company's data will provide Autocat users with detailed and accurate information on which of its products to supply for particular vehicles.
In addition to providing data on replacement wheel fixings (nuts & bolts) and wheel locks, many of which are supplied as Original Equipment to vehicle manufacturers, the company is also using the system to provide other information like wheel locks for commercial vehicles and spare wheels.
"Autocat v8 is widely recognised as the leading aftermarket parts catalogue and is therefore the ideal platform for keeping customers informed and increasing business," Michael Grant, Managing Director at Auto Inparts Ltd. explains.
"Regular updates will ensure that our data includes the latest fitments so that customers can easily find which fixings are required for almost any vehicle."
"We’re delighted that Auto Inparts has joined the growing number of specialist companies who supply data to Autocat v8", said Tony Mason, Sales Manager for data and e-commerce at MAM Software. "The inclusion of the company's wheel fixing data further illustrates the flexibility of the catalogue demonstrates how both suppliers and factors can benefit from having accurate data mapped to our Make Model Index."
